KABSEC Training was delighted to return to Sheffield University to provide the Level 3 Award in Introduction to Crime Prevention to their security staff.
The on-site course, held in the Arts Tower, brought together Security Supervisors and Security Support Officers to explore practical ways to enhance safety, reduce risk and prevent crime across a busy university environment.
Topics included problem-solving approaches to theft prevention, antisocial behaviour and unauthorised access, with a focus on applying effective crime prevention principles in real-world settings.
Practising their skills onsite ensures that the learners can see the relevance in their own workplace and can embed the learning in a familiar and supportive environment.
It was a pleasure to work with such engaged and committed security professionals who play an important role in supporting a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
