We are based in Cornwall. Are we too far away for you to provide us a course?

We cover all the UK so we are happy to travel to Cornwall to deliver training.

Are you just UK based or can you provide training in other countries?

We can travel anywhere to deliver the training, however the qualifications are regulated in the UK so their validity abroad would have be decided, dependent on the country involved.

Are your staff qualified?

All our staff have to be qualified to work with us as either a tutor or assessor.

This is a requirement of our awarding body, ProQual.

They are also subject matter experts and all details of our staff and their qualifications has been provided to, and validated by, ProQual.

What do you mean by ‘Qualifications’?

We only deliver qualifications that have been approved by our awarding body, ProQual, and have been registered and approved by Ofqual.

The qualifications can be found on the national Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Do you take in to account prior learning?

We have a specific pathway for those learners who have completed similar learning and/or qualifications before. You will be required to provide evidence of your prior learning to us so a revised assessment plan can be provided.

Can you provide training without a qualification?

Yes we can and at reduced administration cost.

How long will it take to take to qualify?

Each qualification we offer has a different assessment requirement so we would only be able to quantify this once you have decided on which training and qualification is suitable for your needs.

I don’t work in enforcement or policing can I still attend a course?

We welcome participants from all areas of business that may feel a course may be beneficial to them. In fact we can make the training specific to your area of work.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What benefits might my business receive if we have this training?

Security is an essential element to a successful business – the training would provide the business with security ‘champions’ who can act as a point of contact for other members of staff.

What is meant by the term, transferable qualification?

A lot of ‘training’ is delivered to candidates, where there is little or no validation of the learning at the end of, or after, the course.

Successful completion of a qualification means that you are able to evidence what you have learnt to a required standard and this is rewarded with a certificate.

This qualification remains valid, even if you move to another department or employer.

It's a long time since I did any formal study/education, I'm not sure what I need to do or if I can do it, can you advise please?

Our trainers are skilled at helping you through the learning process.

You will be provided with support at each phase of the learning, the preliminary course material, the classroom phase and the post course assessment.

You will be allocated an assessor who will guide you through the assessment phase.

I hear there's a lot of after course work to do. I'm always very busy at work and won't have time to do it, is it necessary?

We appreciate how difficult it can be to do extra work around a busy job role.

When your organisation agrees that you will do a qualification they also agree that work time will be allocated to complete both the pre and post course work.

You and your organisation will sign up to a learning agreement for the completion of the qualification.
