Janet Caton
Janet is an experienced learning and development manager with 16 years subject matter expertise in Crime Prevention, Community Safety and Designing Out Crime.
Janet was responsible for the design and development of the national Crime Prevention training programme for the College of Policing for 15 years, covering all 43 police forces and public sector partners as well as private organisations and military services police. Janet successfully authored the initial suite of crime prevention qualifications, with the support of Proqual, and has designed a range of supporting material for the qualifications.
A training professional for many years Janet’s training delivery style is open, elicitive and interactive. CIPD qualified she is able to design, develop and deliver bespoke training to meet the needs of a wide range of customers. She is a qualified assessor with expertise in coaching and mentoring.
Amanda Form
Head of Centre and Internal Quality Assurer
Amanda has spent her career helping people and organisations learn, grow and achieve their potential. With experience across education, policing, public services, the NHS and employer-focused training, she brings a warm, practical and highly knowledgeable approach to learning and development.
Her passion is making learning meaningful, accessible and relevant. She has led large learning and development teams, supported national quality assurance and assessment activity, and worked with colleges, awarding bodies, universities and employers to create training that meets real industry needs.
Amanda has worked with KABSEC Training since its inception in 2019 and is proud to support its commitment to high-quality training, practical qualifications and staff development. She is passionate about building confidence, developing skills and helping people take the crime reduction agenda forward effectively.
