Janet Caton
Janet is an experienced learning and development manager with 16 years subject matter expertise in Crime Prevention, Community Safety and Designing Out Crime.
Janet was responsible for the design and development of the national Crime Prevention training programme for the College of Policing for 15 years, covering all 43 police forces and public sector partners as well as private organisations and military services police. Janet successfully authored the initial suite of crime prevention qualifications, with the support of Proqual, and has designed a range of supporting material for the qualifications.
A training professional for many years Janet’s training delivery style is open, elicitive and interactive. CIPD qualified she is able to design, develop and deliver bespoke training to meet the needs of a wide range of customers. She is a qualified assessor with expertise in coaching and mentoring.
John Chew
John is a highly motivated, experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) and head of centre.
He has verified in excess of 500 diplomas, managed teams of assessors, developing best practice and writing policy around internal quality assurance.
He is proficient in all aspects of IQA work having created IQA strategy from its conception to the finished product. He has also provided guidance and support around content and administration of qualifications.
John focuses on the solution not the ‘problem’, specialising in innovation and flexibility with regards to the overseeing of qualifications. He does this whilst maintaining their credibility and authenticity, taking into account the financial constraints of business.
