KABSEC Training is really pleased to share that four Crime Prevention Officers from West Yorkshire Police have successfully achieved the Level 4 Certificate in Crime Prevention for Practitioners.
This is a great achievement and reflects a lot of hard work alongside busy operational roles. The officers have been able to use their extensive experience in the Crime Prevention role to support their portfolio of evidence to achieve the qualification.
Crime prevention is a cornerstone of modern policing. As demand on policing continues to evolve, the role of Crime Prevention Officers has never been more important. By completing this qualification, these officers have further enhanced their ability to:
· Assess crime risks using structured and evidence-based approaches
· Deliver effective situational crime prevention measures
· Work collaboratively with local authorities, businesses, housing providers, and community partners
· Support victims and prevent repeat victimisation
· Contribute to safer neighbourhoods and long-term community resilience
The learning gained through the Level 4 Certificate directly supports operational policing priorities and reinforces West Yorkshire Police’s commitment to prevention, problem solving, and early intervention.
KABSEC Training has strong links to West Yorkshire Police, being our local police service and with our core staff having current and previous roles with them.
A brilliant example of commitment to learning, professionalism, and making a real difference in keeping people safe. Well done to you all – a fantastic achievement!
