On October 24, 2024, at Bridge Street Police Station in Middlesbrough, two dedicated Cleveland Police officers, Steve Cranston and Robyn Smith, received special recognition for their achievements in crime prevention.
Steve Cranston, a highly experienced Designing Out Crime Officer (DOCO), successfully completed the RPL (Recognized Prior Learning) pathway to earn his Level 5 Diploma in Crime Prevention – Designing Out Crime. His advanced qualification reflects his commitment to utilizing effective strategies for community safety.
Robyn Smith, a newer member of the team, undertook the Level 4 in Crime Prevention for Practitioners course soon after beginning her role as a Crime Prevention Officer. Her dedication to building her skills and knowledge in this vital area has paid off with her successful completion of the course.
Both officers worked diligently toward these qualifications, supported throughout by KABSEC Training. Inspector Fay Cole presented their certificates and celebrated their achievements with a bottle of fizz,! Afitting recognition for their hard work and dedication.
