Royal Military Police (RMP) officers, based at various UK units, have successfully completed the second week of the Level 4 Certificate in Crime Prevention for Practitioners. Throughout the training the officers showcased their professionalism, dedication, and creativity through practical demonstrations, including surveys, environmental audits and the implementation of a crime prevention initiative.

The environmental audit, a practical exercise, allowed RMP officers to assess the security vulnerabilities both within and outside  military installations. They identified potential risks and proposed appropriate measures to mitigate them.

In addition to the officers prepared a crime prevention initiative aimed at addressing specific security concerns. They devised innovative strategies to enhance security protocols and deter criminal activities within their operational areas. From implementing access control measures to enhancing surveillance systems, their initiative exemplified a proactive approach towards crime prevention.

They now move into the assessment phase of the learning supported by our newly created assessment template.

It has been a pleasure to deliver training to the RMP who have demonstrated their commitment to safeguarding military assets and personnel against criminal threats, ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all
