It’s Week 2 at Catterick with the Royal Military Police and the bespoke delivery of the Level 4 Certificate in Crime Prevention for Practitioners.

The end of Week 1 saw the learners complete a site security survey on three different sites around Catterick. They battled the elements not only to complete the survey but then for some to return home for the weekend.

Despite the best efforts of the dreadful weather both the trainers and the learners made it safely back to start Week 2.

This week brings a variety of subjects around partnership working, advanced surveying skills and how to manage a crime prevention initiative. In house inputs by RMP on cyber crime and counter terrorism will complete the week.

We have already discussed their ‘exit plan’ for Friday and arranged their final tutorials so they can move to the next phase of the qualification, by beginning to build their evidence portfolios.

We are looking forward to supporting them through the process to complete the qualification.
